Marilyn Mason's extensive career as performer, lecturer, adjudicator, and teacher has taken her throughout the western world. She was the first American woman to play in Westminster Abbey. Her ever-popular historic tours to Europe to see, study, and hear famous organs continue, with Historic Tour 56 scheduled for July, 2009, this time to Spain and France, from Barcelona to Paris. Christopher Harrell, Recitalist

Christopher Harrell is Director of Music and Liturgy at St. Philip’s Episcopal Church and School in Coral Gables, Florida.  Mr. Harrell received the Bachelor of Music degree in Organ Performance from the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, studying organ with Haskell Thomson and harpsichord and continuo playing with Lisa Goode Crawford.  During his studies at Oberlin, Mr. Harrell was featured on the student honors recital and recorded two works that were broadcast on the National Public Radio program for organ music, “Pipedreams.” 

In 1989, Mr. Harrell spent a semester in London on the Danenburg Oberlin-in-London Program studying the English Choral tradition at Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral and other cathedrals outside London.  Through a scholarship from Rotary International, he continued his organ studies in 1993-1994 with renowned organist Marie-Louise Langlais at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris-C.N.R.  At the end of the year he was the only student in her class to be awarded the top performance prize, Prix de Perfectionnement, by the organ jury headed by Marie-Claire Alain.  While in Paris he was appointed as Organ Scholar at the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity—the cathedral for the American Episcopal Churches throughout Europe. 

In 1997, Mr. Harrell completed a Master’s Degree in Sacred Music though the Candler School of Theology and Emory University in Atlanta, where he studied organ with Timothy Albrecht and liturgical studies with Don Saliers.  From 2002-2004, he served on the faculty of Emory University as Artist Affiliate in Harpsichord.  Prior to moving to Miami in 2004, he was the harpsichordist for the Ritornello Baroque Ensemble and the Emory Faculty Baroque Ensemble, and concurrently Organist-Choirmaster at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Dalton, Georgia.  As a recitalist, he has performed in France, England, Norway, and throughout the eastern United States.  He is an active member of the Anglican Association of Musicians and serves as Secretary for the Miami Chapter of the American Guild of Organists. 305.742.5369 Email Mr. Harrell

Felix Hell Concert Organist, Recitalist

The 23 year old German organ virtuoso Felix Hell is a phenomenon in several ways. Letizia Romiti, Organist, Recitalist, Lectures, Masterclasses on Old Italian Organ Literature, Organ Tours in Italy, Duo Oboe and Cor Anglais

Letizia Romiti studied with Luigi Benedetti at the conservatory of Milan, where she was awarded the diploma in organ, harmony and couterpoint. She proceeded to Milan University, where she took her degree, with a thesis on the organ Masses of Cavazzoni. She  has also obtained further diplomas - in harpsichord from  the conservatory of Brescia, where she studied with Fiorella Brancacci, and in Gregorian chant from the conservatory of Turin, where she studied with Wally Pallizzari and Fulvio Rampi. She attended for five years the courses  given by Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini at the Accademy for Early Italian Organ Music in Pistoia, and also attended courses given by Keneth Gilbert, Anton Heiller, and Ton Koopman, amonst others. She has contributed articles to musical journals  and newspapers, and has published a book, "Hisorical Organs  in the city of Alessandria". She has recorded many CDs and recently recorded a CD for "TACTUS" on the historic and rare "Giuliani" organ in Grondona (AL). ;

She has given recitals all over Europe , U.S.A. and the former Soviet Union and has given masterclasses on early Italian organ music, both in Italy and  elsewhere. She is professor of organ in  Alessandria conservatory.

 She plays regularly in duo with Elena Romiti ( oboe and cor anglais), with orchestras,  chamber and vocal ensembles. Since 1978 she has been artistic consultant for the province of Alessandria, organizing organ concerts on historical organs in the area.Email Ms. Romiti

Mark Jones, Recitalist, Accompanist, Adjudicator, Composer, Duo "Classical Sax"

Mark C. Jones is a native of Asheville, North Carolina, where he studied organ with Dr. Marilyn Keiser and with Donna Robertson at nearby Mars Hill College. Additional coaching or private study has been with notables Dame Gillian Weir, Dr. Gerre Hancock, Dr. Steven Williams, Dr. David Craighead, Frederick Swan, Todd Wilson, Martin Jean and Dr. Alec Wyton.Jones currently oversees a comprehensive music department for a large church and school as Director of Music and Organist at the First Presbyterian Church of Pompano Beach, Florida (known as The Pink Churchwww.pinkpres.org where he also administrates one of South Florida’s major concert venues, the Spire Series. A frequent South Florida performer as recitalist, accompanist or as an adjudicator or composer, Jones has appeared with the Florida Philharmonic, the Boca Pops, the New World Symphony, the Lynn University Orchestra, the Young Artists Chamber Orchestra, the Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony and the Miami Bach Society as well as solo performances in churches, and in collaborations with chamber groups and area choruses, including the Florida Philharmonic Chorus, the Master Chorale of South Florida, the Masterworks Chorus of the Palm Beaches, and the Ft. Lauderdale Christian Chorale. He also performs with virtuoso saxophonist Andrea Gilbert in their duo “Classical Sax”. Jones has performed extensively on many famous and historic instruments across Europe and Scandinavia.

Jones’ organ preludes have been performed widely across the US and in Europe and have been broadcast on National Public Radio’s “Pipedreams”. His Three Lenten Hymn Meditations, published by Morningstar Music Publishers have been recorded by Dr. Marilyn Keiser. Dr. Allen Rosenberg, Organist

Director and organist at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, Stuart,and founding Artistic Director and Conductor of the St. Lucie Chorale since 1994. Rosenberg earned his B.S. Degree in Musicology at Columbia University, M.S. Degree in Music Education at the University of Western Connecticut and Ph.D in Music Theory and Composition at Hamilton University. Additional study at Yale University and The Juilliard School where he studied conducting with Jean Morel and organ with Vernon deTar and Virgil Fox.
 
Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Guild of Organists and has composed several works for the organ and orchestra in addition to a new, commisioned work "Waldron Requiem" for 2 soloists, chorus, organ, string orchestra and tympani. He has presented concerts in many locations throughout the U.S. and Europe. Notably at St. Stephan's Cathedral in Passau Germany performing on the largest church organ in Europe. He has served St. Maximillian Catholic Church in Duesseldorf as summer organist providing weekly recitals for 15 years, On March 19, 2008 he conducted the St. Lucie Chorale and Koncertchor '73 from Ratingen-Duesseldorf in a combined concert presenting his new Requiem and Rossini's Stabat Mater with full orchestra and a solo quartet from Germany at the Maltz Jupiter Theater in Jupiter. Arthur Nobile, Organ Recitalist and Liturgist

Arthur Nobile, Jr., is a "post-modern musician' and liturgist. Mr. Nobile has been published in both written periodicals as well as audio and visual materials. After a decade-long affiliation with organist, Diane Bish, at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Mr. Nobile continued studies at the Paris Conservatory, Paris, France. Mr. Nobile graduated with honors from Seton Hill University and was appointed Director of the Office of Worship and Principal organist for the Roman Catholic Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola, The Diocese of Palm Beach, Florida. Presently, Mr. Nobile is director of Pastoral Music for St. Mary Magdalene Episcopal Church, Coral Springs, Florida.
