David Grover and the Big Bear Band

David Grover is a songwriter and performer of original and standard children’s music with a message.  Concerts involve his audience with clap-a-longs, sing-a-longs and children coming on stage to help.  Children all over America have enjoyed and learned from David and the Big Bear Band and their songs.  His concerts have something for everyone from old favorites to new and exciting songs

Concert No.  5, Saturday, April 3, 2010 – 3 pm  - (Special Saturday Concert).…Singing Together
Florida’s Singing Sons Boychoir
Craig Denison, Music Director
There are few sounds in music as exquisite as those produced by a well trained boychoir. South Florida's most recognized young vocal organization will provide an afternoon of hearty singing.  The audience will be invited to sing-a-long with the boychoir and share in this entertaining and rousing song-filled afternoon.

Concert No.  6, Sunday, June 6, 2010 – 3 pm ………………………….…Dance, Dance & More

Miami City Ballet Dancers

Deanna Seay, principal dancer and dancers from the Miami City Ballet present a children’s hour devoted to ballet.  The young audience will be guided through the journey of preparing a ballet, rehearsing and finally the polished performance..  A very special afternoon!  Beautiful dancers, beautiful music, beautiful costumes and more.  Deanna and her friends teach firsthand the challenge of the basic steps and partnering.  A not-to-be-missed afternoon so be sure to wear your favorite tutu and dancing shoes!!!

The hour-long children's concerts are an informal and friendly introduction to the exciting world of music, song and dance.  Fun is the first step to music appreciation and that's what these concerts are all about.  Audience participation and interaction is part of the musical fun providing children with experiences that will last a lifetime.  There’s no better way to encourage the love of music than by introducing children to the music and the musicians who make the magic happen!
