Randi Fishenfeld, Violinist

Randi Fishenfeld, solo violinist with the Klezmer Company Orchestra at Florida Atlantic University and her new band Blue Fire is an energetic entertainer and an A-One Musician who keeps her audiences on the edge of their seats.
Randi began studying the violin at a very young age and quickly showed that she had a certain hunger to learn the instrument as well as that innate quality of talent that her teachers knew would enable her to go far in music. Randi studied privately with Juilliard Professor, Sylvan Schulman. At the same time she attended Law School and passed the New York and Florida Bar Exams.
In 1995 she gave up practicing law and has devoted herself to becoming an accomplished and well known performer and recording star. Randi has worked with such national acts as Kansas, America, Air Supply, B.B. King, Bruce Springsteen, Dave Valentine, Clarence Clemons, and Nestor Torres. Randi also teaches violin to pre-college and adult students.
This concert will showcase Randi’s many talents as she plays a potpourri of Jewish music, including cantorial melodies, Yiddish folk songs and her signature jazz and blues pieces in what the Boca News calls Klezmer on Steroids.
